I found a 1988 MacGregor 26 that’s ready to sail for $3,000.
It’s trailerable, comes with an outboard, and has spent most of its life in freshwater. Nothing fancy—and that’s exactly what I’m looking for.
The dream isn’t a luxury yacht. It’s a simple, affordable boat that lets me live cheaply, explore the coast, and eventually manage my farm remotely while spending more time on the water.
